Welcome to the Historical Association's website! We are a part of the Old Hickory Council, Boy Scouts of America. Our primary goal is to collect and preserve the historical Scouting memorabilia relating to this council. Of course, general Scouting items of the piedmont area of North Carolina and the national Boy Scouts of America are also necessary in order to link that history together.

We currently maintain two local museums―one at Boy Scout Camp Raven Knob near Mt. Airy, NC, and the other at the Boy Scout Service Center, 6600 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC.

Please look over our site, consider becoming a member, and stop by and see our displays.

NOTE: The annual Trade-O-Ree sponsored by the Historical Association was held on December 17, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Gymnasium at Summit School, 2100 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, NC. Many youth and adult Scouters came to enjoy a fun-filled day of trading/buying/selling patches and the food and fellowship!
